Ian Hooper holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Bishop’s University, where on the strength of his installation art pieces, he won the top prize for studio excellence. He has since shown at galleries in Toronto, New York and Detroit. Ian continued to explore "created spaces" through his work with virtual reality and cybercafés at the University of Calgary where he earned a Master's degree in Industrial Design. He has worked professionally designing and testing everything from interactive television experiences to 3D CAD and PDM solutions. He currently works at Autodesk as an interaction designer in the Media & Entertainment division.
