Melissa Dawe is a User Researcher for the Platform Solutions and Emerging Business division at Autodesk, where she’s conducted usability studies, benchmark studies, and formative field research for AutoCAD as well as some of Autodesk’s newest entry-level products. Melissa has worked in software design and usability for over 10 years for corporations, nonprofits and institutions including BEA Systems, Netscape, and the United Nations Development Programme. She holds a BA in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Computer Science with a focus in Human Computer Interaction from CU Boulder.
